Talent Night

The "Colonel" family hosted a talent night for our church at the beginning of October. It was so exciting to listen to people recite Scripture, speeches, and poems, play the piano and guitar, sing and do skits. It was an eye opener to how many talented people are in our church.

Abby recited the poem, "Yesterdays With You," which she memorized after Pappaw's death.  I don't think there was a dry eye there!

Stasia recited the poem, "America For Me."  After spending 6 months in Europe, she is VERY happy to be back home.  I have to agree with her...this IS the place to call home!

Mr. "Colonel’s" reciting of “ Casey at the Bat” is a favorite!

We were able to convince Daddy and Mr. "Henry" to sing “In the Jungle” since not everyone was there the last time they did it. Mr. "MacDonald" joined in to help Mr. "Henry" this time! Yes, when the three of them get together it is REALLY  funny!

Thank you to the "Colonel" family for hosting such a fun night!
