Toes and Roses

Ahhh...Fantastic Family Fridays - so much fun! Last night we watched Abby's John Wycliffe DVD, had Northwest Passage (spiced cider with brown sugar and butter) and cookies, and Mommy did full pedicures on all 6 of us girls, complete with foot massages! It felt so good!

Because Aunt Sunny's baby shower is today, we felt it would be safe to post about our newest sewing skill. Our dear friend, Brittney, taught us how to do ribbon embroidery. It is a lot of fun to do! We put ribbon embroidery on some items for Aunt Sunny's baby.
I did the dress, Abby did the bonnet, Sydnee did the booties, and Sherrod made a blanket.

Here are some detail pictures:
Here are all of our projects together:

Congratulations to Aunt Sunny and Uncle Ben! We hope you have a beautiful, memorable baby shower for the dear little blessing that God has given to you and that you are blessed with everything you need for your new baby.
With our own dear blessing due in just 1 and 1/2 weeks, we are getting very excited! We can't wait to meet him!

  3. Toes and Roses it is!! Having your toes done is a real treat! It makes your hole body feel better and your toes look so nice after a pedicure. Your Fantastic Family Fridays sound wonderful. Now for the ribbon embroidery!!! Your gifts were wonderful!!! The embroidery was soooo beautiful! The ladies at the shower could hardly believe Aunt Sunny's niece's did all that beautiful hand embroidery..it was soooo beautifully done! And the "pink" cap and swaddling blanket were also perfect! She will look sooo cute! Thank you so much for all your hard work. I have pictures but must get them down loaded. I am very excited about Calvin's arrival. I voted for Turkey day...11/26. This is my first day back from Aunt Sunny's and have lots to do, but hope to get some pictures posted or down loaded very soon. Once again, thank you for all your help (work) and I look forward to the arrival of your "new" baby brother!
    Sincerely,
    Jill
