Bear Country

We had a nice time at Bear Country, especially in the nursery!

We started off by driving through the park. We got to see all kinds of animals: black bears, Grizzly, elk, caribou, mountain goats, big horn sheep, buffalo (including a white one), arctic wolves, timber wolves, foxes, and mountain lions.
Next, we went to the nursery to see all of the babies. They were SO cute! These two cubs stood up to tell us hello!


It was a lot of fun to watch them romp and wrestle, especially since these two kinds are enemies in the wild.

    Oh my goodness Sarah, what an experience! All those wild animals in one location and you saw sooo many of them!! I would have loved to see the babies, they are so cute! Bears walking between the cars! Pretty "wild" stuff!
    It looks like the weather was beautiful? You were able to get so much done at the Mayo AND still found the time to do all these things!!
    What a great "vacation"! Thank you for the great posting
