My Sixteenth Birthday

I turned 16 in October!

I was blessed by a surprise party from Daddy and Mommy! It was so much fun! I spent the day at our dear friends’ house, the “Henry’s” (name changed to protect the innocent :)) learning to crochet from my sweet friend, Ariel. We had such fun together that we forgot all about the time and ended up being late to my own party! Haha! It was such a surprise when we pulled up and everyone was here to greet me! We played volleyball and kickball and had a great time fellowshipping together!

A few days later, on my actual birthday, we went out to Ms. Leslie’s and got to have barrel racing lessons! I got to ride Lady, which is one of my favorite horses! We had such a good time! Then we came home and continued the celebration with gifts and dinner.

I was so blessed by my family and friends during this time. Thank you all so much for your sweet gifts and kind words and attention. I am a very fortunate girl!

By the way, I also got my learner’s permit and I’m driving now! Yay!
