When we turn 7, Daddy and Mommy get us a MY TWINN doll! We have all loved that gift and Elly is no different! She sure does love her doll!

Time for gifts!
Her own "big girl" Bible - a MacArthur Study Bible!
Elly is a very sweet girl! She is learning to do many things around the house and is a big help! She loves to milk the goat (more information in a later post)! She is very good at math, especially fractions, which Mommy says comes naturally to her because she's not had any training in that yet. She is not reading independently yet, which is a big disappointment to her, but she is working hard. She has been working with a specialized computer program from the eye doctor for the past several months in hopes that it would help her eyes converge properly, but it hasn't helped as we hoped it would. The doctor is trying some new things over the next 3 months, but if that doesn't help we'll be seeing a specialist in Georgia. Elly does really well with sound and memory, she just doesn't see the letters properly and her eyes tire out quickly. I know she would appreciate any prayers on her behalf, as she has a great desire to read and loves being read to.
