Happy Mother's Day!

The Cost of Motherhood
Once a lady went to visit her friend. During the visit the children of the friend entered the room and began to play with each other. As the lady and her friend visited, the lady turned to her friend and said eagerly and yet with evidently no thought of the meaning of her words: “Oh, I’d give my life to have such children.” The mother replied with a subdued earnestness whose quiet told of the depth of experience out of which her words came: “That’s exactly what it costs.”

I found this little story on Mr. Phillips' blog. My mother is constantly telling us how true this is. Her hope for us is that we, too, will find contentment in our Biblical calling, dedicate our lives to service to our protegy, and that we will forgo momentary pleasure for eternal rewards.

We had a very busy Mother's Day. After church, we had a family gathering at Grammy and Papa's house and we got home late, so we had our own celebration on Monday night with gifts and chocolate covered strawberries and pineapple - Yummy!

Thank you for all you do and happy Mother's Day, Mommy! We love you!

Your Mommy is so very special and of coarse so is your Dadddy but Sunday was Mothers Day and I am sure your words "touched" your Mothers heart. Your Mommy is very unique and how do I know this....all I have to do is look at her children!!!
Now regarding those tadpoles, I have "raised" many a todpole in my life and I am going to share some information with you. As they start to transform from tadpole to frog they will need a rock or two in their "house" that is tall enough to be above the water line and a stick or two that goes from the bottom of the container to half way up the side. They will start caming out of the water and hanging out on the rock and or stick. Once the gills are gone they need to be able to get out of the water. Has anyone given them names? And what are you feeding them? Whoops, this is getting too long!
    Sincerely
    Jill
