Jumping the Fence
Last week our big Pyrenees, Oxy, jumped the fence. The whole story goes like this: Oxy used to just bark a lot when the meter readers came around. Then she started standing near the fence and barking. Now she jumps up on the fence and barks. We have this one meter reader that carries a bat and we're pretty sure he's hit her before because she's suddenly gotten aggressive at the meter readers. Last week the meter man pushed her down when she jumped up on the fence and she lost her mind! She jumped the fence after him into the neighbor's yard! We happened to be watching and Mommy, Abby, and I all took off out there after her where she had the meter man cornered behind a large box! Abby ended up with this scratch on her arm from the fence.
I'm glad we were home. Now we have to put Oxy on the chain when they are coming.
