Yesterday an icicle fell on Daddy's head and Mommy had to take him into the Urgent Care to get stitches. However, the doctor opted to use a different method, a kind of "suture strip." First, it was washed out well, then the PA applied this special glue around the wound.
After the glue was on, he applied the strips.
All better!
Actually, Daddy is still having some troubles with the wound. It is still oozing through the tape. Mommy called the doctor last night, but we just have to watch it.
I guess you could make a case either way for who won the fight with the icicle. Daddy got hurt, but the icicle will melt and be gone in a couple of days. :)
In the meantime we are enjoying the snow.

ReplyDeleteSnow ice cream sounds really good. I have never tasted any. What do you add to it? So sorry to hear about your Daddy's accident and hope he has a speedy recovery! You guys really are getting a lot of snow and ice. Stay safe!
