Many Hands Make Light Work

Each of us children that are 3 and up have asigned tasks that we do on a daily basis for a month. We enjoy doing them and sometimes we get requests for more work (mostly from Elly and Selah). We love being a blessing to our family and we have a lot of fun working together.

Me wiping the counters - Abby dusting the fan

Sydnee doing laundry - Sherrod wiping down the table

Elly vacuuming - Selah cleaning the mirror

(yes, Mommy begins training at an early age - she believes you should begin training a child as soon as they are old enough to have a desire to help, then teach them to enjoy their jobs and being a benefit to the family)

JUST FOR FUN:

William mopping - Wallace sweeping one handed
(okay, so they aren't REALLY working, but playing - it's still cute!)
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for man." Colossians 3:23
I believe it is when we have a servant's heart that we are truly happy.
"Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another." Romans 12:10

Sarah, I am a little behind in my postings but I have been reading your blogs.
Your blog site is wonderful. The info and pic's posted are informative and a joy. I loved your Grammy's garden! What a delight! She must work really hard but she must also love her garden. I am sure Hayden and Payton enjoyed their stay very much. You and your family have been so active this summer. I can barely keep up with you and all I have to do is read! Wishing everyone the very best and may your summer continue to be filled with fun and love.
    Sincerely,
    Jill A

  3. Sarah- this post is perfect inspiration for Uncle Ben and myself today (and it doesn't have anything to do with cleaning).

    Thanks for the update.
