Can you fully rely on the testimony of a 4-year-old? You decide. Here’s the scenario: we have a sweet CD from Patch the Pirate called Harmony in the Home. On it there is a song about siblings that goes, “brothers are a blessing, sisters are refreshing…” and so on. I heard Elly walking around singing, “brothers are a blessing, sisters are repressing,” so I asked her if she was singing the song correctly. When she assured me that she was, I asked what “repressing” meant. She replied, “I don’t know, but it must be good!”
