Memorial Weekend, Part 1

We have had a busy Memorial weekend, but it has been a lot of fun! On Saturday, Grandpa Allen, Aunt Sunny, and Ms. Snow came over so that we could spend some time with them before Aunt Sunny headed back to her home out of state. We hung out at our house for awhile, then went to eat at the Cracker Barrel. We were going to go swimming afterwards, but the pool was closed so we went to a bowling alley instead. However, we didn't bowl, we had a great time playing games and riding go karts!

My favorite game was the "Deal or No Deal" game.


Abby did a great job on the virtual jump rope and won a lot of tickets!


Sydnee really enjoyed playing the hunting game with Daddy.


Sherrod had a fun time whacking the moles!


Elly liked catching the popcorn balls in the bucket.


Selah loved racing the virtual motorcycle and even came in 3rd place!


William had fun trying to race the car and playing on the virtual jump rope, even though he didn't win any tickets!


Wallace had fun just being carted around!


We all had a great time racing the go karts:

The people at the track were very nice to our family. While we were racing, they let William and Wallace play in the extra cars - they had a GREAT time!

    That was very fun--and everyone did a great job driving their cars, especially Abby the speed racer!

    Oh my, it looks like sooo much fun! The first plan (swimming) did not work out but this looks like it might have been even more fun.
    Is there more to the story..per Aunt Sunny's comment...Abby, the speed racer...whoaaaa, what is that all about? Per Part II and Part III it would seem you had a wonderfull Memorial weekend. Thank you for sharing your fun weekend on your blog site. All the pictures are wonderful!!!

    Yes, Abby is quite the daredevil! Mommy gave Daddy a lecture before racing about going easy, but Abby was determined to be the fastest! Daddy won the first race, but Abby won the second!
