Last week we went to listen to Senator Coburn speak, then we went out to eat BBQ. While we were waiting for our food, we all enjoyed eating peanuts. It is the kind of restaurant where the server brings out a bucket of peanuts and when you have opened the peanut you are supposed to toss the shells in the floor. We tried to explain to Selah that you do not throw the shells, you simply drop them in the floor, but she had a hard time figuring this one out. One of her shells even landed in a lady's purse once. Oops! She didn’t seem too offended, but I do hope that doesn’t happen again. Selah eventually got the knack of dropping the shells, but only as we were leaving!
Here is a cute video of her trying to be careful how the shells fall. I hope you enjoy it.

This posting will cover both your new blogs. You really got my attention with your gardening pictures! I love planting things and watching them grow. It is a lot of work, just like life but you reep what you sow. Who is in charge of the tomato plant(s). I have mentioned my experience with trying to grow tomato plants in a prior posting. The berry plants should do well, they are "hardy" plants.
ReplyDeleteWhat type of tomato plant(s) did you choose?
There are so many different varities. I wish you well with your garden. Now for Selah and her peanut shells...by watching the video, it looks like perhaps she had her own "style" for discarding them. I thought the "over the back" was rather creative and very cute. Where did you go to hear Senator Coburn speak?
Sarah, I was busy with various appointments however the one that I would consider exciting was the one for my hearing test and new hearing aids. I have been waiting along time to obtain hearing aids and it was exciting to get them. My hearing loss is just due to "age". But it was exciting for me to finally have them. This is becoming a long posting but you and your family have been doing sooo much and I find it very interesting.
Also, the color of the out door gardening pictures is wonderful. Everyone is working hard, but I am sure the rewards will be plenty.
Look forward to your next posting.
Sincerely,
Jill Andrews
