More on Hayden and Payton

We've been having a good time with Hayden and Payton. Before Daddy prays over us each night, Mommy reads a story and we sing a song. The smaller children all try to pile on top of Mommy at once. Tonight she read on the couch to leave more room for everyone. We sang, "Arise and Sing" (William's favorite) and it was so much fun to watch Hayden and Payton really get into the song! They were clapping and yelling, "Whoo!" right along with the rest of us!

Hayden is having a blast! He loves to wrestle around with us, get rides on our backs, and he really likes for us to swing him up in the air!

He also enjoys playing on the piano. He had a great time at the garage sales. Mommy found him a vest and tie and she was surprised that he was excited about it! He woke up this morning saying, "Do I get to wear my suit?"

Hayden really liked our church this morning. When we got home, he asked if we could go there everyday!

Payton is a sweet little girl. She loves to be cuddled! If Mommy ("Oma") sits down, Payton is curled up next to her in just a few seconds! Payton loves to be read to! She also loves to dress up. When it's time to get dressed she always says, "I wanna dess." Then she'll go into the bathroom and say, "Bow!" She's always so proud of herself after she is all dressed. She goes around to everyone and says, "Pitty!" (Pretty), and we say, "Yes, you certainly are!"

We are going to the water park tomorrow with some friends who are coming into town for a visit - Yeah! I will post more on that later. Have a great day!

A Day at the Pool

We had a lot of fun swimming yesterday. We went with some good friends to swim in their neighborhood pool for awhile. Last night we realized that Wallace had gotten a little sun burned (even though we used sun screen). He was slightly pink on the top of his head and ears, but he looks much better today. Next time we'll remember to bring his hat!

We are headed out to some garage sales:)! I'll post more on our time with Hayden and Payton next week (and we have some other visitors coming as well)! Lots of FUN!

Hayden and Payton

This week and next my niece and nephew are staying with us. We have been having a great time together! They are 2 and 4. Yesterday we went to the park and had fun, even though it was really hot!

All of the little ones were very interested in the bedtime story Mommy read about the "catechism kids" going to the zoo.
